About Me
From a young age I had a love for language and other cultures. With time, that love blossomed into a career. I received my B.S. in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from Brigham Young University in 2000. I went on to obtain a Masters in Clinical Speech Pathology from Northern Arizona University in 2002. I have been a licensed, certified Speech-Language Pathologist for over 20 years, working with clients in their homes, schools, hospitals, and private practice. I am currently licensed in Colorado, Arizona, and Utah.

I live with my husband and 4 children nestled next to the Rocky Mountains, where we enjoy taking our dog for walks and spending time together. When one of our children was diagnosed with dyslexia in 2021, I discovered a new-found love for Orton-Gillingham based methods for teaching literacy. I obtained my Certified Academic Language Practitioner certification from the Academic Language Therapy Association and now enjoy offering structured literacy instruction as part of my suite of services. I am certified in Take Flight curriculum for dyslexia, developed at Texas Scottish Rite hospital. I am a member of the International Dyslexia Association and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
